May 2014 - 5 new adaptive bikes given

We are thrilled to yet again be a part of the “My Bike" event. The Variety's "My Bike" Program, which provides adaptive bikes individually customized to eligible children with disabilities, was started in 2012. WHS has participated in Variety’s events over the last year and has helped give 22 bikes to local children.

With our participation, Washington County has provided a total of 53 bikes to children in the community. We are honored to be a part of this event and look forward giving more children more bicycles in the years to come. We are also honored to be an influential help to the community and families to get their children exercising and staying active!

Let’s keep on peddling!

The 5 new bikes given in May 2014 and were donated by:
- WHS Physicians, Employees, Staff and Administration
- WHS Auxiliary
- TC Open Charitable Foundation which was founded and run by Tom Pirosko and Chris  Prado ( two bikes donated)
- Wayne Pfrimmer, MD
